As the Bysons are taking a short break from gigging to work on their next album ‘Girth’ (10 tracks of rock hard meaty goodness) they have finally unveiled their new manager. It is Rick ‘The Rock’ Hoddy, formally of ‘The Jedi Knights’ fame. Randy said ” we have spent time in looking for the right person, someone who oozes rock and roll, someone who has been there and done it and when regained consciousness, gone back looking for more of the same.”

“We really feel we have got the right mug, er man for the job” said Ruck, “and whats more, he is very cheap!!”

Dann also commented on the ‘difficult second’ album! ‘Yeah, we are finding it tricky after the last one. We have considered working on the third album before we do the second one to see if it makes things easier!”

Happy New Year to all our fans and especially those who came out to rock in the New Year at our Old Years Night show. Fun was had by all! There are many pics to follow!

The Bysons have no time to rest in the new year with gigs in huddersfield on sat 8th and in Keighley the following saturday in the worlds smallest venue – The Cricketers Arms- but if their last visit is anything to go by, it will be another hard rockin’ fun night! After these 2 shows, The Bysons are then spending the next few weeks in the studio beginning work on their follow up album to ‘Length”, suitably called ‘Girth!’ It’s going to be another busy year! The Byson’s have just announced that they will be in the studio Jan 2011 recording their follow up album to the massive selling 2010 epic ‘Length’!! Randy said at the monday press conference “this is going to be a bigger, harder,  fatter(?) album than ‘Length’ with m0re re-workings of classic songs done in the way only the Byson Boyz can pull off”. With the current working title of ‘GIRTH!’, this epic follow up is hoped to be out early spring 2011. It is also rumoured that top producer Hugh Garse is being drafted in for the ‘tricky second album’. Upon being asked if the Byson Boyz were looking forward to working with such a 80′s metal iconic producer, Ruck Sack (guitar) replied, “Yeah!”

Of course, we will keep our fans posted on every step of the journey!!

Tha Boyz see out 2010 in rockin’ style with 3 gigs local to the West Yorkshire region. You can catch them with their special Xmas set firstly in their second home of The White Horse Inn, Bingley – Friday 17th Dec with Canadian support ‘Chuck Steak’, then at Rios Rock club the following night in Bradford and finally you can rock in the new year with them at The Branch, Shipley on Old Years Night! This is going to be a very special with lots of entertaining surprises many of which won’t be able to be talked about the following morning!

Get yourself to one of these shows and get well and truly ‘Bysoned’!!

The Boyz are resting after 2 nights of rocking two new venues to the Bysons-The Branch in Shipley and The Brown Cow, Bingley.  Both nights saw fans dancing on the tables (literally) and even some stage diving at the Branch although this was probably unintentional!  Fun was had on both nights even allowing for Jonny Pantcannon II having equipment breakdown and Randy having a ‘wardrobe malfunction’. Both issues were fortunatly resolved and both band members were spared their blushes-just!.

Catch the Boyz as they do 2 local West Yorkshire shows this coming Friday and Saturday. The Branch Shipley and The Brown Cow Bingley. Come down and rock out with them. On stage at 9pm!!
